It allows the blood sample to be transferred from the segments of the blood bag hoses into the tube without using scissors. It does not cause haemolysis when transferring blood drops into the tube. In each application, standard drops of up to 25 µl can be taken from the tube. Since it its centrifugal, if so desired, the same can be centrifuged without having been transferred to another tube; hence it is economical.
